We require a motivated energetic person to join our farming operation. We milk 500 cows through a 50ashb with cup removers on 40 sets. You will be working with a husband and wife team, and we both have 20+ years in the industry. If you are wanting to learn in the industry this is the job for you, as we can offer great mentoring opportunities. We offer a competitive salary package, and being a smaller farm we offer a good work life balance. With this the renumeration could be a salary or paid by hourly rate. Maximum weekly hours worked would be approximately 54hrs. A keen interest in pasture management would be great, we are prepared to teach this skill. Job primarily involves twice daily milking for majority of the season, pasture allocation, feeding out, weed control, irrigation and dairy shed hygiene.
