Farm assistant required located in Southbridge peak milking 1050 cows.
Modern 48 bail Rotary Cowshed
Mainly Pivot Irrigation with some K-lines and Sprinklers
Full-time, Permanent
Minimum 30 hours, Maximum 50 hours- $74,000 total package (including accommodation)
What we are looking for,
- Assisting with day-to-day herd operations, including animal health, production, and overall performance.
- Carry out sole charge milking
- Assisting with feed allocation and pasture management
- Setting up break fences
- Calf Rearing
- Assisting to identify animal health issues
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery (tractors, motorbikes) Training will be provided.
Accommodation
- $200/ week
- Must be willing to share accommodation if required
- No pets
