Short-Term Calf Rearer Role
We are looking for a Calf Rearer to join our team from 20 July.
We calve approximately 560 cows, and the role will run from late July through to September/October.
Key details:
- Approximately 6 hours per day during the peak calving period.
- Hours will reduce to around 4 hours per day from late August/September.
- Ability to work 7 days per week is required.
- Main duties include feeding and caring for calves, maintaining calf sheds, and monitoring calf health.
- At times, assistance will be needed to collect calves from paddocks.
Previous calf-rearing experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.
