The opportunity –
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Farm Manager (2IC) for one of our 12 dairy units. The dairy unit is ha with 730 cows milked through a 43-bail herringbone. This role reports directly to the Farm Manager and you will work closely with them to ensure the farm plans and targets are achieved.
What you need –
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent animal husbandry (lame cow management), pasture and feed management skills and knowledge, experienced tractor skills, excellent communication skills both written and oral. Previous staff management experience is also preferable.
