Amuri Dairying Ltd are currently looking for an Herd Manager with 18months+ NZ dairy farming experience for our fully irrigated dairy farm in Culverden, milking 2000 cows through an 80 bale with ACRs. Duties will include feed allocation, shed management including milking cows, animal health treatments, irrigation and other general duties. You will be provided with progression and training opportunities in this family owned dairy farming business where two of our three dairy farm managers have progressed within the company. There is a modern home available, on this smoke and drug free farm. Pre-employment drug screening will be undertaken. You must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have the ability to drive in NZ. 9 on, 3 off roster and 6 days on, 1 day off for 8 weeks over Spring.
