Farm Overview

We are located 15 minutes from Winton and 20 minutes from Invercargill in Southland.

  • Milking approximately 630 cows at peak

  • Predominantly Holstein Friesian

  • Self-contained farming system

  • Wintering barn

  • Automatic calf feeders

  • 60-bail rotary with ACRs

We operate a supportive and inclusive work environment, and our current team is young and has worked together for the past three seasons.

Roster

  • 6 & 2 for most of the year

  • 6 & 1 through peak calving

  • Additional time off flexible within reason

The Role – Dairy Farm Mananger

You will assist with daily farm operations as directed, including:

  • Milking and shed hygiene

  • Feeding and pasture management

  • Animal health and welfare

  • Calf rearing support

  • Effluent management

  • General farm maintenance

  • Adhering to on-farm compliance (health & safety, environmental, animal welfare)
