We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Assistant or 2IC to join our team on a well-run dairy farm milking 450 Friesian cows. You will be working alongside the Sharemilker, one other full time staff member, and supported by relief staff.
The role involves assisting with milking in a 40 ASHB with cup removers and in-shed, animal health, tractor work and general farm duties, this role would suit someone who is willing to develop their skills, take on more responsibility over time, works well in a team and takes pride in their work.
Located close to Horsham Downs school and Hamilton, this position is ideal for a family or single person, pet's negotiable. 12 on, 2 off roster flexible with days.

Milking 220 Friesian cows through a 20 AHB with in-shed feed. Flat farm, feeding maize and grass silage, no feed pad.
rearing 50 heifer replacements. fenced 3-bedroom house available.
