730 Cows | 60-Bale Rotary Shed | Cup Removers & Auto Draft
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our friendly team as a Relief Milker. This is a fixed-term role from December until June as maternity cover, working in the shed to help us produce top quality milk in a safe, efficient, and animal-friendly way.
• Milking 630 cows in a 60-bale rotary shed with cup removers & auto drafting
• Monitoring cows during milking for signs of illness or injury
• Maintaining shed hygiene and cleaning plant/yard after milking
• Recording and reporting animal health issues promptly
• Following all farm health & safety procedures
• Monday to Friday afternoon, 2 - 5pm
• 15–20 hours per week
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Milking experience preferred
• Drive in role (no accommodation available)
• Farm is 10 minutes from Palmerston North city
• Supportive team environment
• Good hourly rate (based on experience)
• Flexible, consistent part time work during the contract period
