We are seeking a motivated candidate to work 12 hours per week to cover the cost of rent (Milk for rent). The house is $360 per week for rent and 12 hours of labor at $30 per hour covers this cost. There may be times where additional hours are needed outside of the 12 hours per week where an hourly rate will be paid.
The hourly rate is $30 and we require you to be available 2 days a week for 6 hours per day.
This role would suit a single person who has other part time/casual work or a couple where one partner is able to work 12 hours to cover rent.
The home is a 3 bedroom cottage with a log burner and a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom.
Your duties will be:
Bringing cows in for milking, Milking, Setting up fences, Spraying & weed control and general farm duties.
The shed is an 80 bale rotary with auto cup removers, flat to rolling/hill contour 5 minutes out of Waimate. We are a positive team of 4, including Sharemilkers.
Some experience would be required to suit this role.
