We are seeking a motivated dairy farm assistant for our dairy farm in Waikuku.
The farm is family owned and has been farmed by the family for 120 years. We are a winter milking farm at the peak milking 1200 and down to 950 over winter and over 3/4 of our herd are full pedigree Holstein Friesians. We also make our own silage and hay.
Located 30 mins from the centre of Christchurch City and 5 mins from Rangiora.
We have a 70 Bale Rotary Shed, In-shed feeding, Allflex Collars, ACR and Automatic Calf feeders and Pivots.
Class 2 License would be beneficial for Silage and carting stock.
Start date can be negotiated for the right candidate
