Join Bainne or Limited on our well-established 408-hectare dairy farm! We milk 1500 cows and are seeking a dedicated Farm Assistant to join our team for a fixed-term position.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Farm Assistant to support our team from July 20th. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with milking operations.
  • General animal husbandry and care.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized farm environment.
  • Shifting irrigators
  • Picking up and help with calf rearing
  • Other general farm duties as required.

  • 1500 cow dairy farm.
  • 408 hectares.
  • 6 days on, 2 days off roster.
  • Located 10 minutes from Ashburton town center.

Requirements:

We milk 1500 through an 80 bail rotary shed. The farm is irrigated by 4 pivots with rotorainer and Klines on the corners. Fully automated dairy shed with drafting gate, in bail teat spray and Halter collars.
