280 cow dairy farm on the Taieri Plains, looking for a dairy assistant. The role would involve sole charge milking so previous herringbone milking experience is required. We are looking for someone to cover weekends and 3 weekdays-flexible which days these may be.
24 a/s herring-bone.
Applicant needs to be able to
-complete vat wash and get cows in
-plant set-up and milk
-complete wash and hose down
-shut cows in.
Other work would include- tractor work, fencing and general farm duties
