Position for June 2026 Season. The farm is located 15 min south of Hawera. This position requires somebody who can work alongside farm owner and part time employee. You need to have a sound general knowledge in all farming practices, physically fit, non smoker who is capable of working independently. Hourly rate with a minimum hours guaranteed. The farm consists of a 40 bale rotary with cup removers and also has auto drafting and heat time. Milking 330 cows twice a day on 100/ha with run offs. The role entails: -Running the cow shed in all aspects including animal husbandry, accurate record keeping and maintaining high hygiene standards. -Operating modern farm machinery. -Able to identify and complete general maintenance on the farm -Opportunity to step up in job title and responsibility The future employee will have past farming experience. good communication and excellent understanding of English Please include a CV, cover letter and 2 references.
