Seeking skilled, experienced individual with a good work ethic for my 440 cow dairy farm situated in Ruawai, Northland, approximately a 20 minute drive from Dargaville. A local primary school and college is nearby. The dairy farm has a 38 bale Herringbone shed with Protrack system and halter technology. Cows are on twice daily milking with all dairy replacements reared (approx. 130 calves). The successful applicant will be a fit, active, enthusiastic individual with flexibility. Recent experience in all aspects of dairy farming essential. Duties include: milking, farm maintenance, feed out and operating machinery. You will have a genuine interest in the dairy industry, the ability to work well independently and as a small team member. Knowledge and experience in on/off grazing, farm maintenance, machinery operation and animal health skills. Salary to be negotiated, based on skill level and experience.
