Dairy Farm Assistant Wanted Location: Ashley Clinton – Central Hawkes Bay Position: Full-Time
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on a busy, well-established dairy farm with a 370-cow milking herd.
Key Responsibilities:
Milking Assistance : Support in milking using a 30-side Herringbone milking shed.
Animal Health : Assist with monitoring the health and well-being of our herd, including feeding, treating, and maintaining a clean environment.
Farm Maintenance : Help set up and maintain fences, move K-line and lateral irrigation, and assist with general farm maintenance.
Feeding : Assist with feeding out and ensuring animals have access to quality feed and water.
Run-off : Assist at dairy support run-off nearby.
Requirements:
A good sense of humour and attitude.
Minimum of Restricted Driver’s License and reliable transport (essential).
Must have your own accommodation.
