We are a family farm in Greenpark, a 25-minute drive south of Riccarton, Christchurch. The farm is set up with a 30-bail rotary cowshed with cup removers, and three Roto-Rainers. We average around 400 cows through the season and raise about 110 calves each year.
We pride ourselves on grass management as the key to production.
Matailands is born from a generational partnership; our family have been dairy farmers since the milking machine was invented.
