Due to unforeseen circumstances and having two people pull out on us we are on the hunt for another person to join our small team before the upcoming calving. We are looking for an experienced herd manager. This position will be split working between two farms 2 minutes apart. Both farms run a system 4. We are extremely passionate about our stock and strive for the best results both in production and animal health as well as maintaining a general high standard of farm upkeep and tidiness. Both farms milk around 450 Friesian cows through modern 40 aside herringbone and 50 bail rotary cow sheds. Both farms are well set out with modern infrastructure utilising wintering barns and feed pads. Halter technology is utilised on both farms.
