We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team on a 680 cow dairy operation. Its located in the Howard Area about 1hr 30mins from Nelson, milking through a 50 bail rotary shed. This is a hands on role assisting with the day to day running of the farm to maintain high standards of animal welfare, milk production and farm presentation. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking cows twice a day and operating milking equipment. Feeding stock and managing pasture allocation.
