Located 10mins from Timaru, the farm sits on rolling to flat topography. Predominantly centre pivot irrigation, with fixed grid, hardhose and a few k-lines making up the balance.
Peak herd size around 550. Twice a day milking through 42 aside herringbone, dropping to 16hr milkings during the season. In shed feeding with PKE and DDG as required.
Cows winter on with swedes and fodder beet.
Around 130 heifer calves are reared, along with some bull calves. R1 and R2 heifers are grazed off farm.
