Calve 150 cows from 1st April - calve 400 cows from 1st August

Farm is predominatley Flat
Calves are feed on a separate platform from Dairy farm and are sent to Beef Runoffs once weaned
We natural mate, no AI, Bulls are only on Dairy farm for mating, then off to Beef runoff
15 mins on tarseal to local town ( Dargaville)
School bus at gate - Dargaville High, Dargaville Intermediate, Dargaville Primary
Shed takes 3 hours to milk with whole herd in, twice a day, we milk 2 herds to make it easier on the girls as its a long farm, so hense the 1/2 worker to get cows in :) - Much less in the Autumn when we are only milking 1 herd
Office able to be set up for children if necessary and a very family orientated, family friendly farm.
Ideally this would suit a couple, relief milking will be available, so would be feeding calves if keen
We currently work a 11 days on 2 days off roster, but happy to discuss this further
House is an older 3brm + office
Couple of years experience at least on a dairy farm a must
Must be a NZ resident/citisen or have a valid current work permit
Have good communication skills, and a willingness to upskill
Must be able to work as a team
Confident on Quad, Tractor & Feeding out
