Kilkenny is a small, family-owned and run dairy operation; located 15 minutes south of Milton, Otago. The stock are wintered on farm or at the adjacent run off block, both of which have a rolling terrain with steep gullies.
The milking herd consists of 420-450 jersey cows which are milked through a herringbone shed. The dairy shed is equipped with an in-shed feed system, an automatic teat sprayer, cup removers, and drafting technology, streamlining the milking process.
