I am a Contract Milker operating on a flat 128 ha dairy farm on peat soil, with 119 ha effective in grass. Farm is supported by maize and silage aswell as in‑shed feeding. The farm runs a 36‑aside herringbone shed with ACRs and milks a mixed Friesian‑cross herd of around 420 peak cows. The property is well set up with 4‑wheeler bikes and buggies for daily farm work, and our systems are practical, efficient, and focused on maintaining a productive, well run operation.
