🌿 Part-Time Fixed Contract / Relief Milker Wanted – Waitakaruru, North Waikato 🌿
We are a progressive, passionate family farming business located in the Hauraki Plains, North Waikato. We’re looking for a motivated person to join our team as a part-time fixed-contract or relief milker, working approximately 15 hours per week for afternoon milkings (until 31st May).
About Us
We milk 200 cows through a 20 ASHB and operate a well-organised, forward-thinking system 3 farming operation supported by a feedpad, shelter, and Allflex collars. We take pride in farming with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.

About the Role
Your main responsibility will be sole charge afternoon milking, but if you’re keen to learn and grow your skill set, there is opportunity to help with additional farm tasks such as (but not limited to):
- Setting up and taking down breaks using Kiwitech fencing
- Feeding out - onto feedpad with Augerbucket
- Plant wash and shed hygiene routines
Full training provided for all tasks.
There is also potential for this to develop into a longer-term role with more hours available after 1st June, for the right person.
What We’re Looking For
Someone who:
✔ Has experience milking or motivated to learn
✔ Shows good stock sense and a calm attitude around animals
✔ Is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in doing a job well
✔ Can confidently work independently once trained
✔ This position is open to applicants who hold NZ residency or citizenship.
