Join our team on a well-structured dairy farm milking roughly 560 cows. We operate an efficient 40-bail herringbone. There will always be two people milking together as we have no automatic cup removers.This is a drive-in position, making it perfect for someone who already lives locally or prefers to commute and maintain their own off-farm housing. We are looking for a reliable, motivated Dairy Farm Hand to assist with day-to-day operations. You will work alongside the contract milker to maintain high standards of animal welfare and milk quality. Key Responsibilities Milking: Assist with efficient, high-quality milking in the 40-bail herringbone. Animal Health: Monitor herd health, identify mastitis, and assist with treatments. Stock Management: Shift breaks, break fencing, and move stock calmly. Farm Maintenance: General weed control, fence repairs, and keeping the shed clean.
