We milk 900 cows on the west coast of the Pouto Peninsula near Dargaville.
We utilise Halter collars so no early morning starts pushing cows to the shed!
Approximately 1/3 of the herd is milked OAD full season with all cows milked OAD during late lactation.
We milk through a modern 60 bale shed with automatic cup removers.
The farm is predominantly a sandy loam soil type so... no mud!
We are minutes drive from Ripiro beach, NZs longest driveable beach, a fisherman's paradise.
