Predominantly Autumn calving with 25 percent calving in the spring. The dairy farm is in the Te Rehunga district, just 40 minutes East of Palmerston North and 10 minutes South of Dannevirke. We operate a high production farm, currently sitting at 650 kg milk solids, per cow, per year. We have top quality infrastructure which consists of 54 bale rotary, milk meters, Halter , composting barn that can house all cows, modern tractors and machinery and a sophisticated in shed feeding system, to name a few. We operate over 340 ha of farmland of which 100 ha is cropped each year into sugar beet and maize silage which is cut and carried to feed our cows. We have 6 full-time staff on farm, and a mechanic / engineer.
