Full Time, Live in, Farm Assistant, Papamoa, BOP.
We are looking for a farm assistant with preferably 1 years’ experience to join our team. The farm is 120ha of flat land, we milk 350 spring calving dairy cows twice a day through a 24 aside herringbone shed in the BOP.
Start date is 1st June 2025, with the potential to be earlier for the right person.
The farm is located 7 minutes from the heart of Papamoa and 10 minutes from Te Puke. It is a 15-minute drive to Mount Maunganui and 20 minutes to Tauranga. A Prime location to go from Farm to town in a heartbeat.
Accommodation (if required) is a tidy 1 bedroom home with an attached carport. It is suitable for a single person or a couple without kids. There is potential for relief milking work for a partner. No pets or smoking allowed inside the house and no pets on the farm.
Roster will be 11 and 3. We are hands on farmers looking for a thorough, honest, reliable and enthusiastic person that has a good work ethic. Must also have good communication skills, be able to work with other people and not be afraid to put in an honest day’s work!
Salary/wages will be negotiated based on experience.
Candidate must have:|
· NZ Dairy experience (at least 1 year)
· Be an NZ resident (we are not accredited employers)
· Currently reside within NZ
