Experienced Farm Assistant position for 2025/26 season in Waverley, South Taranaki
We are looking for an experienced Farm Assistant for our 140ha property, milking 380 cows through a 44 bail rotary shed with ACRs, auto teat spray, auto drafting and in shed feed system. All cows are wintered on farm and young stock are sent out grazing.
Main milking platform is flat with a step drop to more river flats below. Turnip's are grown in the summer. Farm harvests it's own silage and maize only buying inshed feed in.
Warm, tidy house with 2 bedrooms will be available.
Farm is 5 minutes from Waverley and 40 minutes from Whanganui and Hawera. Waverley Primary School has a bus that runs past the house. For High School students in Whanganui they can be dropped in Waverley to catch the bus.
