Do you know your way around a tractor, love working with animals, and think fixing a fence is just another puzzle to solve? Are you the kind of person who rolls up their sleeves, gets the job done, and says, “What’s next?”  If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Farm Manager at Riverrock Farm Ltd!

 

What You’ll Be Up To:

🐮 Managing our stud Angus herd like a pro—movements, vaccinations, inseminations, and making sure the herd is happy and healthy.
🌾 Keeping our pastures lush and lovely with your grazing expertise and maintaining our tracks and area with daily grooming.
🚛 Driving the tractor and truck (Class 4) with care, giving the rockstar horses you have on board a super smooth ride.
🐎 Helping lead racehorses on and off the truck with confidence, kindness, and calmness—because you’ve got that horse whisperer vibe.
🛠️ Fixing fences, mending troughs, and tackling farm maintenance like the farm wizard you are.

 

What Makes You a Perfect Fit:

  • You’re trustworthy and reliable—you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to get the job done to a high standard.
  • You’ve got a “happy to help out” attitude and thrive on variety.
  • You know animals come first and handle them with a calm, kind, and confident manner.
  • You’re competent and comfortable driving a tractor and Class 4 truck and ideally have experience transporting horses.
  • You can listen to instructions, think on your feet, and work independently.
  • You’re not afraid of a challenge (or a stubborn fence post).

 

What We Offer You:

$   20-30 hours per week at an hourly rate of $30-$35 per hour
