Dairy Cattle Farm Assistant / Farm Worker – Entry Level 

📍 Location: 15 minutes from Taupo, New Zealand

We are seeking 3 reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistants or Farm Workers to join our team. You will work closely with the Contract Milker to ensure smooth daily farm operations.

🔹 Farm Details:

• Milking 1,250 cows at peak through a 60-bale rotary shed
• Rolling contour farm
• Located near stunning landscapes and Great Walks of NZ

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily farm operations, including:
  ✅ Milking twice a day (most of the year)
  ✅ Animal health and welfare
  ✅ Calf rearing
  ✅ Feeding stock
  ✅ Effluent management
  ✅ Fencing & weed control
  ✅ Farm compliance (health & safety, environmental, and animal welfare)

What We Require:

✔ Experience preferred (training provided for the right candidates)
✔ Can-do attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Early morning starts (around 4:30 AM)
✔ Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
✔ Ability to drive 2-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and tractors
✔ Minimum 30 hours – Maximum 45 hours per week
✔ Must live on-farm (shared, well-presented accommodation provided)
✔ Clear criminal record required

💰 Pay Rate: $29.66 per hour
