We require a farm assistant for 330 cows farm we contract milk on. We located near Te Aroha. The start date is 1st of june 2025. We milk 320 cows through a 32 aside herringbone shed. We have shed feeding system blend and it is system 3 farm .
We are seeking someone who:
• has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• has 1-2 years NZ dairy farming experience, preferred but not essential
• is reliable and honest
• keeps a tidy and clean house
The successful candidate will be expected to take part in all duties related to running a dairy farm. This would be great opportunity for someone to gain a wide range of experience. As the contract milker, I am on farm daily and jobs are shared so there is plenty of variety.
