We are currently contract milking Vervet diary for Dairy Holdings Ltd in Hinds. Next season, we will be moving to contract milking Terrace dairy for Dairy Holdings Ltd in Bankside, milking 1100 cows through a 54-bail rotary shed with ACR's and auto teat spray. We run a low input spring calving system focusing on maximising milk from pasture with minimal supplements. Calves kept on platform until target weights achieved/December. 5 Centre pivot irrigators covering majority of platform with Klines and sprinklers making up the rest. Our team consists of 4 full time permanent staff + 1 fixed term to assist with the calving and mating periods.
