Apatu Farms - Plantation

Apatu Farms is a family-owned agribusiness. Our operations are diverse, encompassing pipfruit, viticulture, vegetable cropping, export onions, transport/logistic and dairy farming. Our Plantation Dairy site is based in Ongaonga, Hawkes Bay. We have 1800 cows at peak, a 60 bale rotary, twice a year calving ('Spring': July-Oct/Nov and 'Autumn': January-April)  and all-year milking. We are busy! And to help us get things done we have a great team of 15+ people onsite as well as support from the wider Apatu Farms team. About the role: We are looking for a permanent full-time Machinery Operator to support our Plantation Dairy team. Reporting to the Farm Manager,  you will support the day to day machinery-related activities including completing all feed-out related tasks for our herd .
