Zebra Wood Farming Ventures

This is a slightly different opportunity. We have made a late season farm purchase and now have the challenge of operating two farms next year. We have an excellent team of farm staff but need someone who can lead the team, make medium term decisions, and problem solve when things go wrong. We do not need someone that is hands on everyday, and depending on the applicants requirements, it may not be a full time role.  The farm: 285 ha effective, peak milking 700 cows. Well set up with 54 bale rotary, and adjoining 200 ha runoff where we winter cows and raise young stock. The farm has an outstanding recently built executive home for your use. The farm is located just 15 minutes from Te Anau. The unique location provides excellent recreational opportunities. What we want: Someone who can live on farm and oversee all day-to-day operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. We have an excellent team and want to see them continue their development....
