We are currently searching for a Farm Assistant to join our team. We are share milking on a dairy farm 15 minutes from Ashburton and Methven. This role will suit someone who works well in a team and is passionate to uphold high standards. This role could equally suited to a current Farm Assistant who wants a stable position or someone who is wanting to grow into the role and take more responsibility over time.

Peak milk 450 cows
3 full time staff which includes the current Farm Assistant role advertised
24 a side herringbone with automatic cup removers and auto wash
Irrigated with a Pivot and Rotorainers
Winter on Kale and Grass
Caring environment to work in with a motivated team
Three bedroom home with log burner and heat pump. Newly renovated bathroom
Job will include but not limited to:
*Milking.
*Setting breaks
*Weed control.
*Shifting rotorainers
*Health and Safety responsibilities.
