Cheddar Valley Farm is a System 2, spring calving, 160 cow peak dairy unit. The farm is situated on reclaimed flats with steep hill country surrounding. The farm is located 10 mins east of Ohope and is in between Whakatane and Opotiki, about 20-30mins from each.
We operate a low stress, minimal inputs system, with a spring fertiliser programme and supplementary silage during times of low pasture quality.
