Margan Farms

WE ARE NOT ACCREDITED, NZ residents only apply! MUST BE DRUG FREE 2 bed farm cottage avail, NOT suited for pets sorry.  Farm is situated 5 min from Tokoroa Township.  Applicants with a partner who's available and experienced with relief milking will be an advantage as there will be plenty of milking's available.  We are a husband and wife team, shed requires 2 people and we will be running 2 herds most of the season.   shed is a 30ASHB with ACR's and in shed feeding. Farm is mainly flat with some steeper paddocks by cowshed.  Roster can be discussed, and can be very flexible, we are thinking 7 on 3 off. work load is not massive and salary will reflect that. Weekend work is only Essential jobs.   duties will include, but not limited to- *Milking twice a day. 6am / 2:30pm.  *break fences *feeding out in paddocks ( Mostly flat )  *Shifting traveling irrigator Must be confident on 2 wheeler, and capable of working alone when required so experience is a MUST.
