Willow Park is a flat and fertile dairy farm close to Masterton in the Wairarapa region. The platform consists of free draining river terraces, river silts and stone. 100% of the platform can be irrigated making it summer and winter safe while achieving highly productive pastures.
The farm is predominantly tetraploid ryegrass, clover and plantain swards, with 20% of the platform being targeting for renewal each year.
There is 130ha of attached support land, and 68 detached, both producing a majority of the harvestable supplement as well as crops for the wintering of animals.
Average rainfall is typically 950ml.
