We are seeking a motivated Herd Manager to join our team for the 2025/26 season. The position is based in South Taranaki - 5 minutes south of Waverley. We peak milk 640 cows over 200ha's through a 60 bail rotary cowshed with ACR, protrac drafting/ recording and SmaXtec. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to relay information to the sharemilker. You will be working alongside the sharemilker aswell as another herd manager and relief staff/ calf rearer. Key Responsibilities and Skills: Animal Health: Identifying and treating sick/mastitis cows. Identifying and addressing metabolic problems Treatment of lame cows Recording treatments Equipment Operation: Capable of operating 2 and 4-wheeler bikes.
