Henli Farming Ltd is on the search for a new farm assistant ready to progress their career in the dairy industry on Tussock Dairy Farm. This is for a junior role with some experience that the applicant is wanting to build on. The role is to assist the team in executing daily activities including but not limited to: milking cows, identifying animal health symptoms, feeding cows and setting up break fencing, carrying out milking plant hygiene practices, assisting in calving and mating. Accommodation will be provided on farm in a warm, clean and sunny house. Remuneration is negotiable based on experience and skillset. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 inclusive of accommodation. This is based on 90 to 100 hours per fortnight which vary across the season. The roster is 5 days on, 2 days off. Henli Farming Ltd is on the search for a new Dairy Herd Manager ready to progress their career in the dairy industry on Tussock Dairy Farm. The successful applicant will be tasked with carrying out duties individually including but not limited to: Ø  Setting up the milking shed, milking, and shed hygiene Ø  Setting up and taking down break fences to allow correct feed allocations as instructed, Ø  Shifting and recording effluent, Ø  Identifying animal health symptoms and treating with different remedies, calving cows and identifying milk fever plus calving and mating duties. Ø  Train juniors on basic farm tasks when required. Ø  The tasks on this farm are varying!  The successful applicant will need to have a clean driver's license, be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and be currently living in New Zealand.
