Waterton Agricultural Ltd peak milks 850 cows through a 50 bale rotary shed. The farm is predominately pivot irrigated with rotorainers . The farm is located 25min from Ashburton, 15min from Rakaia. To be considered for this role you need to be eligible to work in New Zealand. We are a family-run sharemilking operation. The applicant will have to pass a pre-employment drug test and pass random drug tests throughout the season if felt needed. Hold a clean drivers’ license. You must currently to be eligible to work in New Zealand and be in New Zealand to attend interviews and be competent with the English language. Dairy Farm Assistant
Waterton Agricultural Ltd Dorie, Canterbury, New Zealand
Dairy Farm Assistant required. The position involves supporting the Farm Managers in achieving the farm’s production and profit goals through assisting with the day-to-day operation of the farm, and to follow good animal health and welfare, and environmental practices. Previous experience on a dairy farm, driving two wheelers and tractors would be an advantage but is not essential. All training can be provided for specific farm operational procedures. The farm is located in Dorie, 25 minutes from Ashburton - Drivers license would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have the right attitude and be motivated to have a successful career in dairy farming and be looking to progress from this role and undergo any required additional training.
