Looking for HERD MANAGER. Our farm is 230ha Milking 950 cows through 60 bales hi-tech Rotary. 1 hour 40 minutes drive from Christchurch and 45 Amberley. Key task and responsibilities: Manager milk harvesting to optimise quality, efficiency and yield, monitoring milk dockets to help troubleshooting issues. identifies, maintains and fixes faults in the miking plant and farm dairy equipment.  implement and Monitors the animal health plan, record and reports on this. Monitor pasture covers, feed intakes and cow condition, and discuss appropriate management with senior staff. implement the farm plan for effluent management in line with regional council requirements and consent conditions and monitor the farm's dairy effluent system.  Roster is 5 on 2 off  you will be guaranteed a minimum 40 hours ( Any hour worked over 38 hour per week will be paid at a rate of $31.5 per hour) You must have a clean criminal record  driving licence is must  Salary is 65-67k/pa including...
