Cloverlea Farms has grown to be operating 3 dairy farms and its own runoff support block, all located in Pirongia, 10 minutes apart.
Farm 1: 600 cows Split calving
Farm 2: 400 cows all Spring
Farm 3: 400 Cows all Spring
Ours goals as a business are to maximize our milk production from the cheapest sources of feed we can to achieve high levels of production per cow and per hectare. We have varying operations from System 3-5 Feed Systems. Feed pads to in-shed feed.
We have a support block to grow our own youngstock and grow feed for the dairies, run a calf rearing operation, do all our own crop and pasture work in-house with modern machinery, and we have an embryo production and recipient business. This gives staff a huge amount of variation of work day to day.
We are a busy place all year round but value regular time off and a great team culture. Family is important to us and we try to ensure everyone can fulfill the commitments they need to in order to have a healthy home life.
