The Lincoln University Research Dairy Farm consists of 55 ha of irrigated land and is currently milking 190 cows. Cows are milked in a 12 aside double up herringbone cowshed with the latest DeLaval milking systems. The farm is run as a research unit on all aspects of dairy production with the objective of conducting research on dairy production systems.
