The position is full-time drive in, and fixed term (July-January). January onwards, we do have the option to transition into casual work to cover time off etc. You will be working along side myself (sharemilker) and my 2IC. We milk 475 cows through a 36as herringbone. Farm is predominantly pasture based, with supplements fed when needed. The farm is well maintained, free draining, flat, and easy to work on. Perfect for someone who is wanting an easy environment to work and learn in. For this coming season we will be installing collars and drafting gate to make things a bit easier. Milking usually takes 2ish hours, milking times are 5.30am and 2.30pm. From December onwards we change to a 3in2 milking roster(5.30am, 5.30pm, 10am), then change again to OAD in February.
