We seek a full-time Two Dairy Farm Assistant to work on our 850-cow dairy farm in South Otago. Your job responsibilities will include setting up break fences, milking cows to the highest standards according to Fonterra milk quality, yard and plant wash, weed control by spraying, during calving season, picking up calves from the stand-off pad and putting them in the calf shed to feed them. You will be required to maintain animal hygiene and follow all animal welfare rules, while also being willing to carry out all general farm duties day-to-day. A good skill in riding a bike is required, and we will provide a two-wheel bike to the successful candidate. You must also follow health and safety rules at all times, according to company policy.
