Our farm is 15 minutes north of Morrinsville, milking 350 cows split spring/autumn calving on 102 eff ha in 2 blocks through 2 dairy sheds - one a near new 18 a/s HB, the other an efficient 17 a/s HB. Both blocks and herds have covered feed pads and a good standard of machinery making feeding out efficient. We also have 33 ha of dairy support land nearby for grass silage, growing maize and youngstock. The farm is run with you, a herd manager to run the second shed plus a part-time relief milker, and the farm owner to cover rostered time off and assist with calf rearing, etc, allowing us to structure rosters and packages to suit the right applicants.
