Massey University's Agricultural and Horticultural Enterprises are looking to appoint a Dairy Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis, to be based on the Dairy 4 Unit.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain further momentum in your career, with some large herd and multi-herd experience. You will be able to make the most of this opportunity while being exposed to exciting new research and modern farming systems.
To be successful in appointment to this position, you will need to have a strong work ethic and proven dairy farming ability.
Depending on your experience, packages with accommodation range upwards from $58k and the farms are close to the city of Palmerston North which enables easy access to exceptional schools and community facilities.

Located on the doorstep of Palmerston North City this farm boasts a great rural-urban lifestyle.
Dairy 4 is a system five farm, situated on 250ha, milking 600 cows twice a day through a 60 bale rotary cowshed, with a 28 bale rotary for research.
You will assist with all day-to-day on-farm activities and be supported in training and development. As a high-profile university farm, this position will see you working alongside a variety of researchers, lecturers, students and visitors on any given day.
