The milking platform is ~200 ha which grazes between 650-700 cows throughout the season, although cows are wintered on a run off block just down the road. Cows milked 2x a day for most of the season through a 40 ashb shed. There is no irrigation as we rely on around 1100 mm rainfall annually. This is a system 3 run platform with most silage grown on farm or runoff, and reliance on fodder beet as a supplement over seasonal shoulders (including winter).
