The farm is a flat 290 ha, milking 1120 cows peak (winter 1170). Grass based system, with an emphasis on correct rotation length and residuals. Water is from CPW, irrigated with 1 full circle pivot (240ha), with effluent underslung, and 20ha of k lines and single sprinklers. Cows are milked through a 54 bales rotary shed, with ACRs and in-bale teat spray. Milking times are reduced with Max T milking used. Cows are wintered off farm, with calves on farm until they head to grazing in November/December.
